It's actually been almost two years since we were last able to enjoy some Ethiopian coffees roasted by our friends at Origin Coffee Roasting, so we're very excited to see a couple of new releases from the birthplace of coffee added to their delicious selection.
This particular coffee is a wonderful example of what the Yirgacheffe region has to offer. Sold separately under the trademarked regional name - a little bit like Champagne - Yirgacheffe coffees are prized for their delicate characteristics. This one displays everything you would want from the region including complex, fruity flavours, floral & tea-like aromatics and lots of clarity in the cup.
Like many of the Yirgacheffes we've enjoyed over the years, this one shines in a pour-over, but it shouldn't disappoint in any manual brew method.
