The group head gasket in an espresso machine provides the seal between the group head and the portafilter, ensuring there is no leaking, and that water goes through the coffee puck at the appropriate pressure. This is a part that needs to be regularly replaced, at least once a year, and as often as you find any issues with leaking. The speed at which the gasket perishes can depend on temperature, cleaning regime and the amount of volume that goes through the machine.

H3001 - 8mm Commercial La Marzocco Gasket

Dimensions: 72 x 55 x 8 mm

The H3001 gasket is 8mm thick, and is designed for most commercial La Marzocco machines, as well as the semi-professional GS3. It will fit the GS3, Linea, Linea PB, GB5, FB80 & Strada.

The 8mm thickness is designed for newer machines where there hasn't been too much wear on the group head or portafilter. If your machine has seen many years of use, or you're finding that there is a loose fit, you may want to get the slightly thicker H3002 mentioned below.

H3002 - 9mm Commercial La Marzocco Gasket

The H3002 gasket is 9mm thick, and is designed for most commercial La Marzocco machines, as well as the semi-professional GS3. It will fit the GS3, Linea, Linea PB, GB5, FB80 & Strada.

The 9mm thickness is designed for older machines that may need a bit more thickness because of natural wear on the group heads and portafilter. It's a good choice if you're finding the portafilter fits loosely or still leaks with a new 8mm gasket.
