Brazilian coffee can be boring. There, we said it, but those in the coffee industry may not be so surprised to hear this. Sure, they are the world's largest coffee producer, but most of this is the commodity kind of stuff that we don't like to drink, and even the specialty stuff can be a bit samey. Nevertheless, there are sensational Brazilian coffees out there, and our friends at Quaffee have a knack for sourcing them.
This particular sensational Brazilian tastes a bit like eating a bag of peanuts and raisins. It's got that savoury, heavy-bodied peanut quality, and that lingering honey-like sweetness of dried fruit. Every once in a while, it also throws in a chocolate note just to keep you entertained.
We had particularly delicious results with this coffee in our Hario V60, MoccaMaster and siphon brews, but you probably will enjoy it in other brew methods as well. If you think Brazilian coffees are boring, try this one and change your mind!
