Voodoo's blends are made up of three carefully curated coffees: a washed blend of Catuai and Typica from Mexico, a washed blend of Typica and Bourbon from Papa New-Guinea and a naturally processed specialty grade Robusta from India. These three coffees allow for a balance of complexity and sweetness from the Arabica coffees with the fullness and body of a Robusta to offer intensity and flavour in various measures.
Aptly named, Like Sunday Morning is the lightest roast of the Voodoo range, and as expected with lighter roasts, it is the fruitiest of the three. This coffee only uses the two Arabica coffees and foregoes the heavy intensity of the Robusta, making it more delicate and nuanced, perfect for those slow and relaxing mornings.
We found a malty, sweet aroma alongside pleasant stone fruit acidity that came out as peach, plum or even mango depending on the brew method. It also delivered fantastic results on espresso, offering up vibrant acidity with notes of marzipan and almond.
This coffee is made for those couch moments when caffeine isn't the answer you are looking for. With low bitterness and smooth acidity, this delicate coffee hosts walnut flavours with a milk chocolate finish.
