Another year-end, another Cedar festive blend. Now in its fourth incarnation, Cedar’s festive blend has developed ceremonial significance for us at CCB, and we look forward to it all year long. This latest iteration looks to match the established tradition of tasting as bright and wild as it looks, wrapped in a hypnotically psychedelic package and promising bold tropical fruit notes in the cup.

Cedar’s festive blend isn’t your run of the mill, comfortably familiar café-staple blend. No, it’s meant to sparkle, to dance on your palate to a melody of the bright, sweet flavours that make specialty coffee so easy to get excited about, to get obsessed with.

Keep things festive in your cup this holiday season. Give someone a gift that catches their eye and delights their taste buds, and liven up the colours of your own coffee cupboard. Grab a bag  (or a few) of Cedar's Festive Blend (v4).

Cedar’s notes

  • Cup profile: Mango, pineapple, vanilla sponge cake

“We’re almost at the end of the year which means it's that time when we release our annual Festive blend to get you in the mood. As we usually do on this blend, we’ve changed up our blending approach with a mix of a few experimental coffees to bring out something unique.

This makes quite the filter brew. Expect tropical notes, specifically mango and pineapple. Through our espresso that pineapple carried through but when combining this with milk we got vanilla sponge cake. All of these notes: the fruit notes and sponge cake combined gave us a familiar taste of trifle.

We will be stocking this coffee just for the festive period so quantities are quite limited once it's done, it's done. See you again same time next year!”
