Choosing a coffee machine can feel a little overwhelming, not least because we have lots of options for you to choose from. It may feel difficult to know what to buy based on the website alone, so we're here to help, in-person, in a couple of ways.

In-store experience

We have most (but not necessarily all) of our home machines on the counter at our store in Claremont, as well as a couple of commercial machine options. They are there for you to check out in-person and get your hands on if you so choose.

We also have a team of trained baristas in our store who know all the equipment intimately and can answer your questions. Time permitting (and if that machine is on), they can even show it to you in action to help you decide.

Unfortunately, our store can be busy, and so can our team members, so we can't necessarily promise that we will be able to devote a significant amount of time to your specific equipment demonstrations. If you want a more in-depth and focused session, consider booking one of our scheduled demo sessions.

Scheduled demonstrations

For those who want a focused, one-on-one experience with one of our members of staff, we offer paid 30-minute demo sessions where you can explore the options in detail, ask questions, try the equipment yourself and taste the coffee that it makes. We try to make it a fun and educational experience.

For this type of session, we ask that you make a paid booking online on Quicket, but if you choose to buy a setup, we will credit the booking fee against your equipment purchase. We typically would expect a demo session to focus on one or two options, as making a coffee and answering questions can take some time, but we will do our best to accommodate whatever we can in the 30-minute slot.

Please understand that we can't promise everything you are interested in is available to demo, so if you're keen on a particular piece of equipment, please contact us to confirm it's on the counter before you book.
