Due to the mineral content of the water that comes out of your pipes, any piece of equipment that consistently has a lot of water running through it will inevitably gather limescale and mineral deposits. Automatic coffee and espresso machines are particularly prone to limescale buildup in critical areas like the boiler, thermoblock, pipes and pump, especially when used frequently in a commercial setting. These deposits can negatively impact a machine’s performance pretty significantly, especially with regards to heating, and can even lead to irreversible damage in the long term, which is why you should regularly be using an effective descaler.

• Pour 50ml of descaler to every 250ml of water, until desired amount of descaling solution is obtained.
• To measure out 50ml, remove the dosing cap and ensure the other cap is tight. Squeeze the bottle until the doser measures 50ml (top indicator).
• Follow the machine's manufacturer’s instructions to descale your machine.
• Always rinse the machine at least twice with fresh water after descaling and before refilling and reusing the machine.
