Bodum has been selling French press coffee makers (coffee plungers) since the 1970s and has played an instrumental role in their popularisation throughout the world. If you first encountered Bodum in recent years, there's a good chance that the Brazil was the first of their beautifully designed coffee makers that you saw.
The Brazil is one of Bodum's most iconic, contemporary designs, with its minimalist, elegant aesthetic, featuring a simple base to protect your counter, an ergonomic handle and a lid. This leaves the heat-resistant borosilicate glass uncovered to give you full vew of the coffee brewing inside.
The inside of the Brazil is exactly the same as all classic Bodum French press coffee makers with a 3-part filter & plunger mechanism made of durable stainless steel, which can easily be taken apart and put into the dishwasher for cleaning. For those looking for a simple, elegant way to make delicious coffee, the Bodum Brazil is an ideal coffee maker.

Perfect size. Sturdy. Washes perfectly in the dishwasher. So happy the soft silicone finish has be done away with.

Bodum Brazil French Press
Firstly, your service was excellent, so thank you! This is a replacement to be used at my beach house, so I will only use it at the end of the month. Although the design is neat with clean lines, I'm not sure how practical it is. All my previous Bodum's only require one hand to push the lid and mesh into the glass. This design has a cut-out in the lid to cater for the handle, meaning that the lid has to be positioned. It also means that the mesh has to be manoeuvred underneath the handle sticky out bit. I am sure I am going to find this very annoying, but hopefully I get used to it.
Great!
Personnel extremely helpful when I collected the product. Thank you!
