Unlike the classic Hario V60, the Pegasus dripper forms a boat-shaped wedge with two small holes at its base that restrict flow; giving you a slower drawdown as you brew. Hario’s signature spiral ribs have been integrated into the Pegasus’ body to create a gap between the brewer and filter, preventing choked brews by allowing air to escape.

The Hario Pegasus dripper is designed to be used with Hario’s trapezoid-shaped Pegasus flat-bottom paper filters. However this brewer can also be used with other 1x2 sized wedge filters like the ones you find for filter coffee at most supermarkets.
