In 1933, Alfonso Bialetti designed the iconic Moka Express, which to this day is manufactured in the same octagonal style with durable aluminium. Much of the Moka Express’s global fame, however, is credited to Alfonso's son, Renato Bialetti, the marketing visionary who also inspired Bialetti’s friendly mascot. The Moka Colour Exclusive range adds vintage-style finishes to the iconic stovetop Moka Express coffee brewer, and is available in three glossy pastel colours. The diamond-shaped knob and handle have been revived from the Moka Express design of the 1960s.

Just like the standard Moka Express, all you need to do to make espresso-style coffee is fill your Moka Colour’s bottom with hot water, then fill the filter basket with freshly medium-ground coffee. Place your reassembled ‘moka pot’ on a gas or electric stove with medium heat, and within minutes you will have rich and delicious coffee.

Size Guide

We offer the Bialetti Moka Colour in two sizes - 3 and 6 cup. Each cup corresponds roughly to a ~30ml concentrated shot and most people tend to like doubles. To make a longer drink, many people will dilute the concentrate for an Americano style coffee.

Please note that this aluminium coffee maker will not work on induction stoves. For an induction-ready, stainless steel stovetop, check out the Bialetti Venus or purchase a Bialetti induction plate.
