Bialetti is known primarily for its moka pots - resilient, precision-engineered stovetop coffee makers that can last the better part of a lifetime. However, moka pots make a short, concentrated coffee, more similar to espresso than filter. For those who want a longer, but still full-bodied brew, Bialetti has applied its elegant design & craftsmanship to its very own take on the second most popular type of coffee maker in the world - the coffee plunger, or french press.
Bialetti's plunger comes in two sizes; the smaller one is great for a single person; the larger perfect for 2-4 people. Its beaker is made of heat-resistant borosilicate glass and its exterior of stainless steel, ensuring it will last a long time. It is in fact built to the same level of sturdy reliability that Bialetti's moka pots are known for. It's also dishwasher safe!
Here's a little bit of trivia. Did you know that the coffee plunger was actually first patented by an Italian? Whether you call it the French press or the Italian press, it's still a great way to make coffee!

Good quality
Nice build quality and comfortable handle. Just be aware the the 3 cup capacity is equivalent to a small mug of black coffee.
Good buy
We are happy with our purchase of the Bialetti Coffee plunger. The service from Cape Coffee Beans was excellent and effortless.
Only coffee maker, Product I use
Great product works excellent makes the best coffee ☕️ very happy with it
Nice-looking but not a Bodum
After using Bodum (Brazil) for more than 20 years I decided to get the Bialetti as I liked the look of it & the promotional price. The press does not seal as nicely as Bodum and let coffee grinds through, especially when one has the habit of grounding too fine. Whereas the lid of the Bodum Brazil has a notch at the handle for precise placement, one has to carefully place the Bialetti lid to ensure the opening for pouring coffee is correctly located. Next time I will go for Bodum again…
The Italians just have style!
Very well made and very stylish!
