The original Encore coffee grinder offer affordable points of entry for home baristas seeking convenience, precision, and consistency. We are excited to offer Encore owners replacement burrs for those who wish to swap between the M2 and M3 variants or simply replace well-worn burrs when the time comes.

You can buy the stock M3 Cone Burr and replacement Stationary Ring Burr, or upgrade your setup with the M2 Cone Burr, the same one used in Baratza’s Virtuoso+. All of these steel burrs are precision-tooled by Etzinger in Liechtenstein.

Choosing the right Baratza Encore Spare Burr

Choose from the following burrs, ensuring that your Baratza Encore grinder is compatible:

The 6173 M3 Cone Burr is the exact original equipment manufacturer cone burr that comes pre-installed in the Baratza Encore. It is suited for filter brewing methods like drip coffee and French press.

The 6170 Ring Burr, unlike the M2 and M3 which are spinning centre cones, is a stationary outer ring that works with the rotating cone burr. Both the M2 and M3 cone burrs fit into this outer ring. Choose this replacement ring burr if the stationary burr inside your Encore grinder is no longer performing.

The 6175 M2 Cone Burr is an optional upgrade for Encore owners looking for faster grinding. Compared to the stock M3, this burr features a sharper cutting edge and a more aggressive burr geometry. Choose this burr to modify your Encore.

These burrs are not compatible with the Encore ESP or Encore Pro.
