This product typically takes 1-2 working days to dispatch
Please note that espresso grinders are tested before dispatch. This may result in some residual coffee grounds in the grinder. Rest assured that this is a brand new product that has been tested to ensure optimal performance
Eureka is one of the most reputable manufacturers in the espresso grinder space. One of their most recognisable designs is the compact and aptly named Mignon range. The Mignon grinders have been around for many years, and are built in a small enough package for domestic use, but robustly enough for low volume commercial applications. The Specialita is the new, top end of the Mignon range and is a wonderful choice for high-quality espresso.
The Eureka Mignon Specialita builds on all the great functionality of the Mignon Silenzio. It is equally reliable, hardy, consistent and easy to use. It also features the same sound-insulated construction, as well as stepless, micrometric adjustment. To this, it adds an easy to use interactive display which allows you to set two different time-based programmable doses with 0.1s precision. Doses are activated with a push of the portafilter and can be paused and resumed in the same way, allowing you to do mid-grind portafilter shake for better distribution.
The Specialita houses 55mm hardened steel burrs which provide even more grind consistency than the rest of the already impressive range. It does a great job at all ends of the spectrum, including coarser manual brew grinds. With the option to remove the adjustable portafilter fork, you can use it for all kinds of applications*. Last but not least, it includes anti-clumping technology, making it a great companion to any high-end domestic espresso machine.
If you're spaced constrained and are looking for a versatile grinder for your setup, the Eureka Mignon Specialita does not leave much to be desired. From a consistency, functionality, size and even aesthetic perspective, it's a pretty awesome little grinder.

* A note on grinding for manual brewing
While this Eureka grinder is very capable of producing high-quality grinds at many different grind settings, the adjustment dial is calibrated to make it very easy to fine-tune for espresso. It is not ideal for going back and forth between manual brew settings and espresso settings, as it required multiple turns of the dial to do so. That means you may need to spend a bit of time testing to get back to your desired setting. If you want to quickly and easily switch between manual brews and espresso on a regular basis, without having to waste coffee on test grinds, you may want to consider the Eureka Perfetto which is designed for exactly that purpose.
