Unlike immersion cold brewing methods, drip-style brewers don’t leave the coffee grounds in contact with the water for several hours which means the final brew is brighter and cleaner. In the case of most drip-style cold brewers, the drip rate slows due to loss of weight/pressure. It then becomes necessary to adjust the drip rate to ensure a steady rate of extraction. With the innovative filter design of the Shizuku, however, all you need to do is pour the water and wait. No need to make adjustments to the drip rate.

After placing the grounds into the basket and inserting a paper filter, pour water into the upper bowl. The downward flow and internal filter result in a diffused and steady drip from the two slits. After 1 to 2 hours, and without any need to adjust the drip speed, the liquid is completely drawn down, giving you authentic cold brew coffee, in a fraction of the time.
