Austrian brand Kaffee Klar’s T1 Automatic Portafilter Cleaner turns the loud, messy chore of using knock boxes into a fast, hands-free routine. Equipped with interchangeable brush heads, it clears away spent coffee grounds and wipes 58 mm portafilter baskets clean in seconds. The heads are easily swapped out and adjusted to accommodate your specific café setup.

Constructed from durable, food-safe polymer with heat-resistant bristles, this Kaffee Klar cleaning head for the T1 features a specialised profile optimised for flat-bottomed, straight-walled 58 mm double-shot baskets ranging from 14 g to 22 g. A tool-free, quick-lock mechanism allows for easy attachment, while anti-static wiping blades thoroughly sweep both the sidewalls and micro-perforated base without wearing down precision coatings. To accommodate varying basket depths, the upper rubber strip can be adjusted using Kaffee Klar’s included 01, 02, and 03 sizing inserts.

Please ensure that the T1 unit is unplugged when replacing or disassembling the cleaning head.
